For years, a beautiful complexion has been on the top of many peoples’ lists of priorities. Luckily, treatment is available for skin conditions and abnormalities, providing smooth and even skin. Microdermabrasion with MegaPeel and your dermatologist at Bayside microdermabrasion and the megapeelLaser and Skin Care Associates in Annapolis, MD can help you achieve the skin you have always wanted.

What is microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a process for exfoliating the skin. The procedure is non-invasive and removes the top layer of dead, dry skin. This creates an even and smooth skin tone and brightens the skin. Microdermabrasion comes in two varieties: crystal and diamond. With crystal systems, tiny aluminum oxide crystals are aimed at the skin, using friction to remove the upper layer of skin. Diamond treatment systems use a diamond tipped wand which uses sands away the top layer of skin. Microdermabrasion is painless and does not require numbing cream. Most patients experience redness for about half a day after treatment.

What makes MegaPeel special?
MegaPeel is safe for all skin types. Since everyone is different, the machine can be fine-tuned to each patients’ needs, providing a completely customizable treatment to suit your specific skin conditions. When heavier treatment is required, a vacuum can be utilized to suck away dead skin cells and debris.
